The Tourist Visa (TR) is the standard option for visitors wishing to stay in Thailand for tourism purposes for a period longer than the 60-day visa exemption, up to 90 days total.

Work Limitations
Strict No Work Policy
The tourist visa does NOT authorize working in Thailand, even remotely. For remote work, the DTV visa is required.
Extension
This visa can be extended once for 30 days at any immigration office in Thailand for a fee of 1,900 THB.

You will be on 'Overstay'. The fine is 500 THB per day of overstay, payable at the airport. Significant overstay can lead to a ban from entering the country.
