Important Warning
This visa alone does NOT authorize you to work. You must obtain your Work Permit from the Ministry of Labor immediately after your arrival. Working with the visa alone is illegal.
Renewal and extensions
The initial 90-day visa can be extended to 1 year at the immigration office in Thailand. This extension is renewable every year as long as you are employed and the company respects tax and social criteria.
Limitations and points of vigilance
Risk of visa loss
If you leave your job or are dismissed, your visa is cancelled immediately (sometimes on the same day). You must leave the country or find a new job capable of sponsoring a new visa within 7 days (depending on the case).
