DTV Soft Power with school in Thailand: Registration, document check, coordination and full support.
DTV Visa (Destination Thailand Visa)

Simplify your DTV Audit & Enrollment for your application

The DTV Soft Power visa allows you to stay in Thailand for an eligible activity organized by a local structure, such as certain training courses, cultural/sports activities, or recognized programs.

This is not a traditional student visa: it is a Destination Thailand Visa (DTV), valid for 5 years, multiple entries, with stays up to 180 days per entry, extendable once locally.

At Siam Visa Pro, we help you verify if your school or organization is eligible, structure the documents, check the consistency of the file, and prepare a clean submission.

What is the DTV Soft Power visa?

The DTV is designed for several profiles, including those coming for 'Thai soft power' activities (muay thai, Thai cooking, sports, medical treatments...). Spouses and children under 20 can also apply as dependents.

In a 'with school' approach, the key is to show an eligible activity in Thailand supported by an identifiable host organization, rather than presenting it as a simple academic course (which falls under the ED visa).

Why apply through a school or organization?

For a DTV Soft Power, the administration requires documents from the host structure in Thailand (invitation letter, ID of the signatory, business registration or license, payment proof).

In other words, the school or organization is the central piece of the file, as it materializes the invoked soft power activity.

Who is this solution for?

This solution is for applicants wishing to stay in Thailand longer via a structured soft power activity, with professional support for document preparation. It can also suit couples or families as dependents of the main DTV holder.

Generally Required Documents

Based on the requirements from Thai embassies, a DTV file typically includes:

  • Passport identity page, valid for at least 6 months;
  • Recent color identity photo;
  • Proof of address or residence depending on the place of application;
  • Financial proof covering the last 3-6 months (depending on embassy);
  • Documents related to the 'Thai soft power' activity from the host organization.
Important : Important: Embassies require financial proof equivalent to 500,000 THB (approx $15,000) over the last 3-6 months. Consular fees are typically around $350 / 350 euros. You must also account for school tuition costs (variable based on the activity).

What we do for you

We don't just sell an enrollment. We include registration, school fees, and full support for a flawless file.

Eligibility Analysis

We check if your project truly fits the DTV Soft Power framework and if the provided school can support a solid case.

Document Verification

We check the consistency between your passport, residence, financial capacity, payment proofs, and the school's documents.

Coordination with the Establishment

We help you gather the right documents: acceptance letter, license, proof of payment.

Preparation before Submission

We structure the file to eliminate inconsistencies before submission on the official e-visa platform.

Processing times and points of vigilance

The procedure takes about 2 to 4 weeks depending on the embassy, or longer if the file is incomplete. The decisive point is the quality of the file at the first submission.

The main risk with the 'soft power with school' approach is overpromising. Eligibility depends on the nature of the activity and the quality of the host organization, not just a simple school enrollment.

Why Siam Visa Pro?

We build a coherent file between your situation, your financial capacity, the establishment's documents, and the actual logic of the DTV Soft Power. This approach aligns with what Thai authorities expect.
