What is the Family Visa (Non-O)?

- Official marriage certificate (Kor Ror 2/3) OR child's birth certificate.

- Proof of cohabitation (Photos, house plan, testimonies).

Work and authorized activities
Work Authorized (Under conditions)
Unlike tourist visas, the Family Non-O Visa allows application for a work permit (Work Permit). Once the permit is obtained, you can work legally for any Thai company without needing a Business Visa (Non-B).
Renewal and extensions
The annual extension is done at the immigration office. The process takes about 30 days. You must prove every year that the funds are still in the bank and that the marital relationship is still active.
Limitations and points of vigilance
Divorce = Cancellation
In the event of divorce, the visa is cancelled immediately (often 7 days to leave the territory). This is a precarious situation for those who depend entirely on this visa.
